“Go Missouri: Winning~Growing~Loving”

"All Things Are Ready…"

As of our last Missouri Christian Convention committee meeting, January 10th, all things look like we will on track for April 11 & 12. Allan Dunbar and Kenny Boles are preparing for the main session messages. Worship is planned. Joe Smith is nearly prepared for the teen sessions. Becky Arthur has the Children’s activities well in hand. The nursery is going to be up and running. Workshops should be great. I would like to be attending several at one time, but God hasn’t given me multiple bodies to do that. But, I can buy CDs from Hutch.

This year we are offering Children activities and Nursery for main adult sessions and workshops. Each parent will need to check on their children to see if they need a little parent time. Of course, we will be able to contact you in the main sessions if a child needs mom or dad.

The Exhibits will be in the Nebraska room just East of the adult main sessions. This is just opposite of last year. There should be exhibitors from many mission organizations as well as other ministries. Of course, there will be books to look at.

Be sure to make your reservations at the University Plaza Hotel (417) 864-7333 or at the Holiday Inn Express (800) 465-4329. Remember to tell the receptionist that you are making reservations to attend the Missouri Christian Convention and you will receive a discount. Of course, there are many other hotels and motels in Springfield to choose from. Yet, we must fill the University Plaza Hotel and uses several rooms at the Holiday Inn Express to get the benefit of the convention center at a lower price. So, when you stay at these Hotels you help the MCC bring down our costs.

Make sure you either rapid register as a congregation or individually register. If you rapid register each person attending still needs to fill out a registration form anyway. This way we can have a name badge waiting for you, and we have your address so we can send you updates throughout the year.

I’m ready for a great Missouri Christian Convention, how about you? Could I ask a favor of you? Please pray that we have no sleet or snow.

Joyfully Serving Jesus with Missouri Christians,

Craig Rippy
